Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic will be in the starting eleven for Saturday evening’s Serie A clash with Udinese.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInter1908, who report that the 30-year-old will be ready to start the match as he is set to finally become a regular fixture in the starting eleven after recovering from injury.
Despite the fact that Brozovic decided to extend his contract with Inter last spring and commit his future to the club, and the Croat had been expected to be one of the key players for the team, he has found himself sidelined with lengthy injuries.
The team has coped better than might have been expected in the 30-year-old’s absence, leading to some questions as to how important he is to the team.
However, according to Mediaset, the feeling around the team is that now that Brozovic is back to his best in terms of fitness, he will regain his starting spot at the base of midfield.
There is still some time needed for the Croat to truly play his way back to his best, but he will start against Udinese this weekend.
