Bolgona coach Thiago Motta expects that striker Marko Arnautovic will be fit in time to play against Inter the weekend after this one.

Speaking in a press conference, as reported by FCInterNews, the coach expressed the hope that the 33-year-old striker will be at his best when the Rossoblu host the Nerazzurri in Serie A next Sunday afternoon.

Despite starting the season off in blistering form and establishing himself as a serious candidate to be the top scorer in Serie A early on in the season, Arnautovic has struggled with injuries for the past several weeks.

The Austrian was able to come off the bench during the Rossoblu’s match against Monza last weekend, but he was unable to seriously impact the game in a 0-1 loss for the Emilians.

According to coach Motta, however, the expectation is that Arnautovic can be ready to be closer to his best when his team host Inter.

Asked whether the striker will be part of the team, the coach replied that “Arnautovic will be ready to face Inter, I hope to have him at his best.”
