Inter want to sign the likes of Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie and Udinese’s Roberto Pereyra to reinforce their midfield for next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the pair would be two of the Nerazzurri’s main targets during the summer transfer window.

Kessie only joined Barcelona last summer on a free transfer from AC Milan.

However, the Ivorian former Atalanta midfielder has yet to really find his feet at the Camp Nou, and even though he has been finding a bit more playing time in recent weeks, could be convinced to leave for a new adventure.

The Nerazzurri have always been very keen on Kessie’s signature, whilst according to the Gazzetta, his former Rossoneri teammate Calhanoglu could personally convince him to join Inter.

Meanwhile, Pereyra’s contract with Udinese is set to run out at the end of June, and he has yet to sign an extension.

The 32-year-old Argentine wants to see whether there is a possibility of joining a top-level club before he extends with the Friulani.

According to the Gazzetta, Pereyera is a player who Inter CEO Beppe Marotta is still a fan of having signed him to Juventus in 2014, and the Nerazzurri executive is ready to target him for a second time at a second club.
