Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is set to be rested in tomorrow evening’s Serie A clash with Udinese.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInter1908, who report that the Argentine will start the match on the bench in view of Wednesday’s Champions League round of sixteen match against Porto, whilst Romelu Lukaku and Edin Dzeko will lead the line from the start.
Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is starting to think ahead to next week’s Champions League round of sixteen first leg tie against Porto with his selections for tomorrow’s Serie A match at home to Udinese.
According to Sky, the coach is leaning towards starting Dzeko and Martinez against the Portuguese champions, with the Argentine virtually certain to start.
Accordingly, the broadcaster reports, Martinez will not be used from the start from the Friulani, to make sure that he is fresh for Wednesday’s match against Porto in the Champions League.
