Inter striker Romelu Lukaku will retain his place in the starting line-up for this evening’s Serie A match against Udinese at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

According to Italian television broadcaster Sport Mediaset, and as reported by FCInterNews.it, the Belgium international will be given the chance to prove himself for the visit of the Zebrette and find his first goal at the San Siro since May 2021, which incidentally came against Udinese.

Lukaku started the goalless draw against Sampdoria last time out and will be afforded more playing time in order to build up his match fitness after a recent injury.

It is expected that he will be partnered in attack by Edin Dzeko, with Lautaro Martinez set to be rested ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League tie against Porto.

Lukaku returned to Inter from Chelsea on loan last summer but has failed to make an impact, with just two goals in all competitions this season.
