Inter midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan stood out as the best performer in the Nerazzurri’s 3-1 win over Udinese yesterday, according to Italian media.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere della Sera, the summer signing from Roma was the most influential player on the pitch and helped Inter to victory at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza with an excellent second half goal.

The former Armenia international earned a 7.5 in the newspaper’s player ratings, whilst fellow goalscorer Lautaro Martinez was amongst the next highest rated players, at 6.5.

Martinez was joined by midfielders Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu, as well as wingback Federico Dimarco after his assist for Mkhitaryan, whilst coach Simone Inzaghi earned a 7.

It was a disappointing evening for goalkeeper Samir Handanovic upon his return to the team for the first time since October, with the captain only awarded a 5.5 against his former club.

Wingback Matteo Darmian, midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, and striker Edin Dzeko were also given a 5.5.
