Football analytics specialists Opta took to Social Media to reveal the lengthy wait between Inter striker Romelu Lukaku’s last goals at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

The Belgium international returned to the Nerazzurri on loan from Chelsea last summer but has endured a miserable season, with his goal in yesterday’s 3-1 win over Udinese his first at home all term.

Lukaku had scored in his last match at the San Siro, against Udinese on 23 May 2021, before moving to Chelsea that summer.
