Hakan Calhanoglu and Edin Dzeko are favourites to start for Inter in Wednesday evening’s Champions League match against Porto, ahead of Marcelo Brozovic and Romelu Lukaku respectively.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInter1908, who report that the Turk and the Bosnian are the two players who are the subject of Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi’s two main selection doubts ahead of the round of sixteen first leg.

In midfield, Marcelo Brozovic is fully fit and available, giving coach Inzaghi something of a decision to make, but according to Sky the coach is set to go with Calhanoglu, who has been filling in the deepest role in midfield adeptly in the Croat’s absence.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Nicolo Barella are set to start either side of the 29-year-old former AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen midfielder.

Meanwhile, Sky report, Dzeko is favoured ahead of Romelu Lukaku to start alongside Lautaro Martinez in attack.
