Former Inter, Porto, Sporting CP, and Barcelona winger Ricardo Quaresma believes that Porto will be up for anything in their Champions League clash with Inter.

Speaking to Portuguese newspaper O Jogo in an interview published in today’s print edition, via FCInterNews, the former winger also predicted that the Portuguese champions will hardly be intimidating coming to play at the San Siro.

Inter’s Champions League round of sixteen tie could certainly be decided on the mental strength and approach of the two teams involved.

The first leg of the tie this Wednesday will be held at the San Siro, and this could certainly become a factor if it allows the Nerazzurri to play with the wind in their sails and really look to impose themselves on the match.

However, for his part, Quaresma doesn’t feel that this will affect Porto all that much, and he believes that they will not consider themselves underdogs in the tie.

“At Porto, no one feels that they are inferior to anyone,” he said.

“They know that they will fight to the end.”

The former winger was asked whether he expects the atmosphere at the San Siro to become a factor and responded that “I don’t think they’ll let it bother them, they have a lot of players with great experience.”
