Inter captain Samir Handanovic is set to start in the Coppa Italia semifinal matches against Juventus in April.

This according to Italian news outlet Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that a decision has been made for the Slovenian to start in goal against the Bianconeri in the Coppa Italia ahead of Andre Onana.

Handanovic made what has become a rare start for him in the league against Udinese on Saturday, his first since Onana displaced him from the starting eleven to become first-choice in Serie A.

The Cameroonian dropped out of the starting eleven ahead of this week’s Champions League round of sixteen first leg against Porto, but is expected to return for that match, as well as for subsequent matches in the league.

However, according to Tuttosport, the decision has been made to give Handanovic a chance in the Coppa Italia, as he will be the one to start against Juventus.
