Porto head coach Sergio Conceicao doesn’t hide the fact that the injuries that his team is dealing with could be a problem for them in Wednesday evening’s Champions League meeting with Inter.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of the match, as reported by L’Interista, the Portuguese coach acknowledged that the players that they are missing have given them a real headache.

Porto will be without a number of key players all over the pitch for this week’s Champions League round of sixteen first leg against Inter.

The likes of forward Evanilson and midfielder Otavio are among the player who Conceicao will have to do without when he selects his team to face the Nerazzurri.

Fortunately for the coach, the Portuguese champions do still have a fairly deep squad and will have quality players no matter what.

However, Conceicao does not sugarcoat that it will be difficult for them.

“We are missing a lot of key players,” he said.

“It has become a very difficult situation for us to deal with.”
