There is a possibility that Roma coach Jose Mourinho could make a sensational return to Inter if he leaves the Giallorossi, although Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid would be likelier options.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica, via FCInterNews, who report that it is far from certain that the former Nerazzurri, Real, and Chelsea coach will stay in the Italian capital past the end of the season.

Mourinho has been winning praise for his job at Roma after having endured more difficult spells coaching the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

For this reason, the Portuguese coach has started to be linked with possible moves to other clubs.

According to La Repubblica, Mourinho’s relationship with Giallorossi owners the Friedkin group is hardly perfect, whilst he has a positive relationship with the hierarchy at his former club Real, as well as with PSG Sporting Advisor Luis Campos.

For this reason, the newspaper claims, Mourinho could make the switch to either of those clubs if he were to decide to leave Roma, although a return to Inter is also not off the table.
