Romelu Lukaku is the favourite to start for Inter in tomorrow evening’s Champions League round of sixteen first leg match against Porto ahead of Edin Dzeko, according to Italian media.

Today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, report that the Belgian would have a greater chance of starting the match compared to the Bosnian alongside Lautaro Martinez at this point.

Dzeko has been seen as the favourite to start against Porto tomorrow due to the fitness of Lukaku, but things have changed somewhat over the past few days.

Lukaku’s performance against Udinese in Serie A suggested that the 29-year-old is starting to find not just fitness but greater match-fitness and form, and so he has been considered very much in contention to start against Porto.

According to Tuttosport, the Belgian has now moved ahead of Dzeko as the favourite to start against Porto in the Champions League tomorrow.
