Inter striker Edin Dzeko has moved ahead of Romelu Lukaku to become the favourite to start in attack for the Nerazzurri in this evening’s Champions League round of sixteen first leg against Porto.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the Bosnian is likely set to be the man to partner Lautaro Martinez leading the line in the Nerazzurri’s starting eleven.

The question of whether Dzeko or Lukaku would start alongside Martinez in attack has been one of the main matters of uncertainty heading into Inter’s Champions League clash with Porto this evening.

The Bosnian former Roma and Manchester City striker had been seen as favourite initially, although the Belgian’s performance against Udinese as well as how he has looked in recent training sessions has made it look as though he could be the starter.

However, according to Sky, Dzeko has moved back into pole position to start alongside Martinez against Porto.
