Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi only has two remaining doubts as far as his starting eleven goes heading into this evening’s Champions League round of sixteen first leg against Porto.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the coach’s two main selection dilemmas concern the strike partner for Lautaro Martinez, and whether or not to start Marcelo Brozovic.
Martinez is virtually certain to start this evening, but Inzaghi has yet to make a final decision as to which of Romelu Lukaku or Edin Dzeko starts alongside the Argentine.
Meanwhile, Brozovic could be in the starting eleven, having started against Udinese over the weekend.
Should the Croat start he would do so at the base of midfield, moving Hakan Calhanoglu to the left-midfield position, displacing Mkhitaryan from the lineup.
On the other hand, if Brozovic does not start, then Calhanoglu would start at the base of midfield.
