Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana has been named as his team’s outstanding performer in yesterday evening’s Champions League round of sixteen first leg win over Porto by Italian media.

The Cameroonian received a score of 8/10 in the player ratings for the match published in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who considered him to be the best player on the pitch ahead of Romelu Lukaku and Hakan Calhanoglu.

Inter kept another clean sheet in a big match against Porto, but they likely would not have done so without some excellent saves by their goalkeeper.

Onana was at his best, and had a real impact on the final result.

Meanwhile, striker Lukaku and midfielder Calhanoglu both received scores of 7.5/10 for their performances, which were among the best on the pitch for the Gazzetta.

Striker Edin Dzeko, by contrast, was only deemed to be worthy of a 5/10 grade for an ineffectual display.
