Current Roma and former Inter, Porto, Real Madrid, and Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho feels that its unfortunate that one of his two former sides has to go out of the Champions League in their round of sixteen tie.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, the Portuguese coach noted that his loyalties were divided in the knockout tie pitting two of the teams he has achieved the most at against one another.

Mourinho is currently impressing with Roma, who are currently on track to finish top four in Serie A, but the coach has a long history that has seen him enjoy success at multiple different clubs.

Porto were the club where the Portuguese coach really broke out, winning the European Treble during the 2003-04 season.

Six years later, Mourinho won the other European Treble of his career whilst in charge of the Nerazzurri.

The coach noted the fact that “Inter and Porto are both important parts of my past, unfortunately only one can go through and the other has to go out.”
