The agent of Inter-linked Empoli wingback Fabiano Parisi has made clear that the 22-year-old has been the subject of interest from big clubs and that a move may not be too far away.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Radio Marte, via FCInterNews, the wingback’s representative Mario Giufredi made no attempt to downplay the transfer links between the player and big clubs including the Nerazzurri.

Parisi has emerged as one of the most promising young talents in Serie A over the past couple of seasons since Empoli achieved promotion to the top flight.

The 22-year-old has excelled playing in an attacking fullback role for the Tuscans, which has caused him to be linked with some of the division’s elite, as well as teams in other leagues.

Given the suitability of a player in the wingback position to Inter’s style of play, the Nerazzurri have been one of the main club with whom Parisi has been linked.

The player’s agent Giufredi noted that “For me, he would already be ready to play at a top club, and already last summer we had many requests.”

“He’s definitely growing a lot, he’s already at the stage where he can be a top player,” he added.
