Inter are prepared to move to try and sign Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie during the summer transfer window.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, via FCInter1908, who report that the Nerazzurri would make the Ivorian former AC Milan midfielder a prime target to sign for next season.

Even though the summer transfer window is still several months away, Inter are already starting to seriously formulate their strategy in terms of players they will try to bring in.

Whilst potential free transfer opportunities from within Serie A such as Roma defender Chris Smalling and Udinese midfielder Roberto Pereyra are on the Nerazzurri’s radar, they are not necessarily priorities.

The possibility of signing Kessie, however, is something that the Nerazzurri would be extremely interested in, and according to SportItalia, they are closing following his situation at Barcelona and prepared to move if he does not find a more regular place in the Blaugranas team over the rest of the season.
