Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is hoping to score his first ever away goal against Bologna in Serie A in Sunday afternoon’s league match against the Rossoblu.
This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who note that the Argentine is keen to break his duck at one of the few Serie A grounds at which he has not yet scored.
Martinez has been prolific for Inter for the past couple seasons, and the 25-year-old has had his say in both home matches at the San Siro and in away fixtures since joining the Nerazzurri from Racing Club in the summer of 2018.
However, Martinez has yet to score a goal for Inter at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara in any of the four away matches yet played at the stadium.
Accordingly, for the Argentine, Sunday’s away trip to Emilia-Romagna will be a particularly significant one.
