Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin believes that it would not be a bad thing if Inter and AC Milan were to go their separate ways and build new stadiums separate from one another.

Tweeting in response to the news from earlier today that the Rossoneri have made the decision that they will try and build their new stadium outside of the San Siro area and apart from the Nerazzurri, Biasin argued that it is positive news because clubs should have their own stadiums in modern football.

Up to this point, Inter and Milan have been working closely in tandem to try and build a new stadium in the city of Milan.

However, the Rossoneri’s patience appears to have run out with all of the delays that their plans have faced in the form of bureaucratic obstacles.

With Milan set to build on their own according to recent reports, this would leave Inter to go their own course, and Biasin does not think that this would be a bad thing.

“Hard to say how this will end up, but I think it’s good news,” he tweeted.

“Rather than a stadium owned by the municipality, which is nothing more than a ‘patch’, clubs in modern football must have their own stadiums, and just their own.”
