Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi has found the right formula for big European nights, as the Nerazzurri have managed three consecutive clean sheets at the San Siro in the Champions League for the first time in their history.

This is highlighted by Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who note that the introduction of Andre Onana in goal has been important, but far from the only tweak that the coach has found.

Clean sheets against all of Barcelona, Viktoria Plzen, and Porto have shown that Inter are a team who can hold firm at their home stadium when they host teams from the continent.

Onana has been the first-choice keeper for the entirety of their Champions League campaign, whilst they look to have found the right approach and attitude to balance between attacking and being mindful of the threat of opposition counterattacks at pace.

Whether it has been Francesco Acerbi or Stefan de Vrij marshalling the back three, the entire team has played well as a unit, and the results have been there to see.
