Inter are ready to cash in on wingback Denzel Dumfries this summer and have already lined up Club Brugges’ Tajon Buchanan as a replacement.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri need to make a significant sale at the end of the season and have decided to sacrifice Dumfries, amidst interest from the Premier League.

With the Netherlands international top of their list of players they will look to move on, efforts are already being made to sound out an incoming transfer that meets the criteria of being low cost and under the age of 25.

This has led director Piero Ausilio and assistant Dario Baccin to Brugges’ Buchanan, with the Canadian international being monitored during their Champions League defeat to Benfica last week.

The 24-year-old joined Brugges from New England Revolution in 2021 and has made 38 appearances in all competitions, whilst he represented Canada at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
