Inter have been blasted for their performance in today’s 1-0 defeat to Bologna in Serie A, with Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin branding their total losses as not acceptable.

The Nerazzurri were undone by a second half Riccardo Orsolini strike at a rain-soaked Stadio Renato Dall’Ara in the early kickoff today, leaving them trailing league leaders Napoli by 18 points.

Taking to Twitter, journalist Biasin congratulated Bologna for their victory but questioned the mentality of Inter, arguing that they are unable to deal with adversity and fight back to secure a win against supposedly inferior opponents.

With the Nerazzurri suffering seven league defeats from just 24 matches already this season, Biasin also argued that it was an unacceptable figure for a club of Inter’s ambitions.

“Deserved victory for Bologna, a team that has identity, ideas, heart, everything. Thiago Motta really good. Inter, two things: Seven defeats in the league are unacceptable. Never (never!) knowing how to react to the advantage of the opponents, even more,” Biasin tweeted.

Inter take on Lecce at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Serie A next Sunday, as they seek to get their Champions League qualification hopes back on track.
