Inter are looking at Newcastle United goalkeeper Loris Karius as a possible option to replace Samir Handanovic as backup to Andre Onana next season.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 29-year-old is on the Nerazzurri’s radar and that he could potentially make the switch particularly given that he is currently dating Italian television present Diletta Leotta.

Inter are on the lookout for a potential low-cost signing who could replace Handanovic as the backup to Onana next season should the Slovenian not decide to extend his current contract.

The likes of Monza’s Alessio Cragno, Sampdoria’s Emil Audero, and Salernitana’s Guillermo Ochoa are all among the options from within Serie A, although in the latter case the Campanian team have an option to extend the Mexican’s contract past the end of the season.

Karius is another name which has emerged, and whilst the former Mainz, Liverpool, and Besiktas shotstopper is happy at Newcastle, he could reportedly be willing to move to Milan on account of his partner.
