The official Twitter account the Lega Serie A used the platform to share a photo of Inter coach Simone Inzaghi alongside Bologna’s Thiago Motta ahead of yesterday’s match.
Motta was ultimately victorious as his side defeated Inter 1-0 at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, with the ex-Nerazzurri midfielder leading his team to the win.
However, the Lega Serie A highlighted how both players had enjoyed success in their playing careers, as Motta won the Scudetto and Coppa Italia with Inter, whilst Inzaghi achieved the same with Lazio.
