Wingback Robin Gosens, goalkeeper Andre Onana, and defender Matteo Darmian are the only Inter players to have emerged with much credit from the team’s dismal 1-0 loss to Bologna in Serie A yesterday.

Today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport gave the trio passing grades in the player ratings for the match published in today’s print edition, via FCInterNews, the only players to have received them.

Inter’s team performance against Bologna yesterday was completely below par, with the scoreline in no way harsh on the Nerazzurri, and for the Gazzetta this came down to many individual displays which were wholly inadequate.

Midfield trio Marcelo Brozovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Hakan Calhanoglu, strikers Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku, and wingback Denzel Dumfries were among those criticized for failing to get going on a rain-sodden pitch.

However, the Gazzetta argues, there were a few flickers from all of Gosens, Onana, and Darmian who at least showed that they were trying to get the team in gear, though it wasn’t enough.
