Inter took to Social Media to share a video of a memorable Alvaro Recoba goal against Bologna in 2003, ahead of yesterday’s meeting between the clubs.
The Nerazzurri lost 1-0 at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, but were able to look back on a better result from the 2002-03 season, as Uruguayan forward Recoba collected a loose ball and netted with stunning lob from range.
Recoba made 261 appearances for Inter from 1997 until 2007, scoring 72 goals and winning two league titles.
