Inter already have signed documents ready with the Assago region regarding potential plans to build a stadium on their own in the area should AC Milan decisively abandon plans to build a new stadium together.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri have the option of building in the area at the ready as it looks increasingly likely that Milan are planning to build on their own.

Despite the fact that Inter and Milan have been working together to try and get started on a new stadium to replace the San Siro over the past few years, the Rossoneri appear to have completely lost patience with delays and are ready to build on their own.

Should this prove to be the case, Inter will not be caught unprepared according to the Gazzetta.

The newspaper reports that the Nerazzurri have already been in discussions with the Assago area as an option to move forward and build a stadium on their own.

According to the Gazzetta, there are already signed documents between Inter and Assago.

However, among these are non-disclosure agreements which have made it necessary for the Nerazzurri not to go public with the details of the plans at this stage.
