Inter have not yet made a decision on whether or not to extend the contract of young goalkeeper Brazao past the end of June 2024.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri will make a decision based on the 22-year-old’s performances on loan with Serie B side SPAL over the remainder of the current season.

Brazao joined SPAL on loan during the January transfer window, having spent the first half of the season recovering from a knee injury.

The Brazilian has also been on loan with Spanish sides Real Ovieda and Albacete since joining Inter from Parma in 2019.

Brazao’s current contract with Inter is set to run out at the end of June 2024, but the club are not yet certain about whether they consider him part of the plans.

Accordingly, a decision on whether or not to offer the Brazilian an extension should arrive at the end of the current season based on his performances.
