Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi did not hold back in his speech to the team in yesterday’s training session as he implored his players to learn to get results even from matches where playing at their best becomes impossible.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the coach used strong words and an intense tone with his players in response to Sunday’s loss to Bologna.

Inzaghi had plenty to address in terms of issues that had appeared during Sunday afternoon’s away loss to Bologna in Serie A.

The team had looked very much rattled by poor weather conditions and an organized, physical approach by the Rossoblu.

Whilst it was inevitable that in some matches like this, the Nerazzurri will not always be able to put in their most stylish and emphatic performances, Inzaghi feels that the way that the team handled the conditions was unacceptable.

The coach demanded that the players put in the same motivation and concentration to “win ugly” in these type of matches as they do when things are going well.

Otherwise, the coach made clear, the entire season is at risk with top four in the Serie A table still in the balance.
