Inter forward Joaquin Correa is aiming to return from his thigh injury in the team’s Serie A match against Spezia next week.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 28-year-old will miss out on this Sunday’s match against Lecce, but that the match away in Ligurian on the 10th of this month is is goal to return.

Correa has been out with his thigh injury since the start of last month.

The former Lazio and Sevilla player is still training individually apart from the rest of the squad, as he continues to work towards a full recovery from the muscle injury he’s been dealing with.

However, a clear end in sight looks to be on the horizon for Correa in his recovery.

According to Tuttosport, the Argentine is looking towards the match against Spezia next Friday as a concrete target to be fit and available.
