One of the key areas in which Inter’s revenues have fallen over the past few seasons has been in the decreasing amounts of revenue brought in from sponsorship deals with Chinese companies.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who note that the Nerazzurri now earn just €2 million in total from sponsorships by Chinese companies, compared to €100 million in 2019.

Between 2016 and 2019, the total value of Inter’s sponsorship deals with companies in China grew to around €100 million .

This has not only dropped off, but has fallen precipitously, with the Nerazzurri now only bringing in a small fraction of that amount.

As Tuttosport notes, Chinese company IMedia had an agreement with the Nerazzurri for a sponsorship deal worth €23 million in total.

However, of the unpaid amounts on that deal, only €150,000 has been paid to the club, an illustration of how much the deals have collapsed for the club.
