Inter wingback Robin Gosens is set to start in this weekend’s Serie A match against Lecce.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 28-year-old is the favourite to start the match on Sunday regardless of whether or not Federico Dimarco is fit.

Gosens had started for Inter in last Sunday’s Serie A loss away to Bologna, where the former Atalanta wingback was one of the few Nerazzurri players to emerge with any credit.

Dimarco had missed out on the match against the Rossoblu through injury, and it is not yet certain whether or not the 25-year-old will be fit and available for next Sunday’s match, although optimism is growing.

In terms of the starting spot on the left flank, however, Tuttosport report that it could still be Gosens who retains his starting place, with Dimarco at most starting on the bench.
