The idea of a swap deal between Inter and Barcelona involving midfielders Marcelo Brozovic and Franck Kessie is still on the table.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri would consider selling Brozovic in the summer, and that a swap deal for Kessie could be the right formula.
Given the emergence of Hakan Calhanoglu in the deep-lying midfield position at Inter, and the continued growth of Kristjan Asllani, Brozovic is a player who the Nerazzurri are likely to listen to offers for.
One very real possibility would be a swap deal involving Barcelona midfielder Kessie.
The Blaugranas are fans of Brozovic, whilst Kessie has been a long-term target for Inter.
According to the Corriere, the idea of a swap of the two midfielders is still something that both clubs would be open to, despite the rumours from January ultimately came to nothing.
