Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie is not likely to leave this summer despite transfer links to Inter.

This according to Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo, via FCInterNews, who claim that regardless of reports that the Nerazzurri are interested in Kessie, the 26-year-old is likely to remain with the Blaugranas where he is receiving increased playing time.

There has been no shortage of transfer links between Inter and Kessie in recent weeks, including suggestions that he could be part of a swap deal between the Nerazzurri and Barcelona involving fellow midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

Moreover, the Ivorian former AC Milan and Atalanta midfielder is a former teammate from the Rossoneri of Nerazzurri player Hakan Calhanoglu, who addressed the rumours in a recent interview with the Gazzetta dello Sport where he stated that his old teammate would be welcome.

According to Mundo Deportivo, however, Kessie is likely to stay put, and there is little chance of his departing from the Camp Nou ahead of next season.
