Inter wingback Valentino Lazaro could stay at Torino past the end of the current season, though the Nerazzurri and the Granata would have to find an agreement on the terms to allow this to happen.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 26-year-old could sign for the Piedmontese club, or his loan could be extended under certain conditions.
Whilst Lazaro’s long-term knee injury has meant that it is not certain that Torino will look to extend his deal past the end of this season, his performances during the early part of the season could still convince the Granata to keep hold of him.
One option would be for the Piedmontese club to sign Lazaro permanently, either for the €7 million purchase option in his loan deal or by negotiating different terms with Inter.
On the other hand, the Austrian could also extend his contract with the Nerazzurri so that his loan to Torino could be extended.
