No US-based investors have yet stepped up to become minority partners at Inter in order to provide financial help to current owners Suning.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Il Giorno, via FCInter1908, who report that the market is being probed for possible interest from US-based funds, but that nothing has yet materialized.
US-based investment banks Goldman Sachs and Raine Group are both looking for interest in investing in Inter at the behest of current Nerazzurri owners Suning.
Whilst part of the banks’ remit is to look for potential buyers who would be ready to purchase the club outright for Suning, they are also looking for potential minority investment.
Whilst there has been some interest in investing in Inter, none of it has yet turned into anything concrete.
According to Il Giorno, no serious parties have yet stepped forward as being ready to make a minority investment in the Nerazzurri.
