Roma defender Chris Smalling has yet to give a response to Roma regarding the club’s offer of a new two-year contract extension, amid interest from Inter and Juventus.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 33-year-old former Manchester United player has yest to make a decision on his future, and that the Bianconeri have joined the Nerazzurri in tracking him.

Smalling has been offered a new two-year deal by the Giallorossi, whilst the Englishman would also have the option to extend his contract by one season at the same wages that he currently earns.

Inter have been reported as being ready to offer the defender a two-year deal at superior terms to what his current club are offering.

Meanwhile, Juventus are also taking stock of the situation and considering Smalling as a possible free transfer opportunity.

In any event, Tuttosport report, the defender has yet to make a decision.
