Inter have been left to ponder their options with respect to building a new stadium, as they have been baffled with how quickly city rivals AC Milan have changed course on the original plans.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri have been taken by surprise by the Rossoneri, and are now looking to make firm plans of their own.

Whilst Inter still consider the possibility of building a new stadium together with Milan to be one of two possibilities, they are now well aware of the need to have a backup plans.

Should the Rossoneri make the decisive break and reorient themselves towards plans to build on their own, the Nerazzurri’s hand will be forced.

According to Tuttosport, Inter are left considering several options in this respect, but on the whole they are just baffled by how quickly the situation has changed.
