Inter defender Stefan de Vrij and wingback Denzel Dumfries have both been included in the provisional 37-man squad for the Netherlands national team’s two upcoming EURO 2024 qualifiers.

This is confirmed by an announcement on the Dutch FA’s official Twitter account, which lists the entire provisional squad called up by Oranje coach Ronald Koeman for the matches during the March international break.

De Vrij and Dumfries had both been in the Netherlands’s squad for the World Cup in Qatar.

31-year-old former Lazio and Feyenoord defender de Vrij did not play a single minute during the tournament, whilst his teammate 26-year-old former PSV wingback Dumfries was a regular for the Oranje as they reached the quarter-finals where they were eliminated by eventual winners Argentina.

Both of the pair have been selected for the Netherlands’ provisional squad for the upcoming EURO 2024 qualifiers by coach Ronald Koeman, who will be taking charge of his first matches since replacing Louis van Gaal as national team boss.
