Inter striker Lautaro Martinez and attacking midfielder Valentin Carboni have both been called up to the Argentine national team’s squad for their friendly matches during the March international break.
This is confirmed by an announcement by the Argentine FA on their official Twitter account, where they list the entire squad for the Albiceleste’s friendly matches against Panama and Curacao, including the two Nerazzurri players, but not including Joaquin Correa.
Martinez was part of Argentina’s squad for the World Cup in Qatar as the team won the tournament.
The 25-year-old, who came on as a substitute during the final of the tournament, returns to the squad, as he will be called up for the team’s two friendlies later this month.
Meanwhile, 17-year-old Inter attacking midfielder Carboni is also included in the Albiceleste’s squad.
Correa, who had also missed out on the World Cup due to an injury, will not be in the squad later this month.
