Inter are serious about trying to sign Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie this summer, although they would likely have to sell Marcelo Brozovic first.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the 26-year-old is a concrete target for the Nerazzurri, and that Brozovic would almost certainly be the man to make way in midfield.

Whilst the fact that Kessie has been making more appearances for Barcelona over the past few weeks than he had been doing earlier on in the campaign, he remains very much on Inter’s radar.

The former AC Milan midfielder still speaks with current Inter player Hakan Calhanoglu, a former teammate from the Rossoneri, and the possibility of his coming to Inter has likely been broached.

Calhanoglu’s future at Inter now looks clear, whilst the club would not be likely to sell either Nicolo Barella or Henrikh Mkhitaryan during the summer transfer window.

Accordingly, it would likely be Brozovic who could be sold to make way for Kessie.z
