Roberto Samaden is set to be replaced as the head of Inter’s youth academy by his current deputy Beppe Giavardi at the end of the season.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the current head of the academy is likely set to move to a club in Serie B for next season, whilst former scout Giavardi will take his place.

Samaden is reportedly ready to step down from his role as the head of Inter’s youth academy at the end of the current season, ending a 33-year association with the Nerazzurri.

According to the Gazzetta, Giavardi will be the man designated to replace the current head in the role.

Giavardi had been the head of scouting at the Nerazzurri, and in 2021 he took on the role of assistant to Samaden, and will be promoted from within now that the latter is set to depart.
