Midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is set to start for Inter in this evening’s Serie match against Lecce, whilst striker Romelu Lukaku will begin the match on the bench.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Croat will take the place of Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the centre of the pitch, whilst Dzeko will start the match in attack rather than the Belgian.
Brozovic did not start for Inter in the Champions League against Porto, but he did start in last weekend’s Serie A loss away to Bologna.
The 30-year-old is set to keep his place from the match at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, whilst Mkhitaryan will drop out of the eleven as Nicolo Barella returns to the starting lineup.
The Gazzetta’s complete predicted Inter starting eleven for this evening’s match is as follows:
Inter (3-5-2): Onana; Darmian, Acerbi, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Gosens; Dzeko, Lautaro.
