Inter forward Joaquin Correa’s fitness is still a doubt for Friday evening’s Serie A match away to Spezia.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the next few days will make clear whether the 28-year-old will be recovered from his injury in time to play against the Ligurian team.
Correa has been out since the start of last month with a hamstring problem, having missed a total of eight matches across all competitions for the Nerazzurri whilst he has been recovering.
The Argentine is getting close to being able to make a return, and could be targeting next Tuesday’s Champions League round of sixteen second leg match against Porto as the right match in which to come back.
Friday’s away trip to face Spezia has been considered as a possibility for the former Lazio player’s return, but as of yet he is still very much in doubt.
