Inter midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has grown into a player who knows how to chip in with decisive goals for the Nerazzurri from midfield.
With his goal against Lecce and following a strike against Udinese two weeks ago, the 34-year-old has now scored in each of his last two Serie A matches at San Siro.
As football statistics account Opta pointed out on Twitter, this was the first time in a couple years that Mkhitaryan has scored in to consecutive Serie A home matches.
They tweeted, “2 – Henrikh Mkhitaryan has found the net in two Serie A home appearances in a row withint a single campaign for the first time since May 2021, for AS Roma (vs Crotone and Lazio). Shape.”
