Any possible sale of Inter by current owners Suning would be made difficult as long as there continues to be so much uncertainty regarding the fate of new stadium plans.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the new stadium situation dragging on without any clear conclusion in sight would make convincing potential buyers difficult.

The building of a new and modern stadium is seen as key to securing the long-term financial future of the club by Inter.

Increased revenues from a new stadium would also accordingly be an attractive prospect for any potential buyers considering taking over from Suning.

However, at the moment there looks to be absolutely no guarantee that the building of a new stadium that could guarantee such revenues is on the horizon.

Accordingly, for as long as the situation drags on in the manner that it has, it could be hard to see a buyer agreeing a deal with Suning to purchase Inter.
