Inter President Steven Zhang considers getting a new stadium build to be nothing less than an “urgent” matter.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, via FCInterNews, who also report that the Nerazzurri President is annoyed with the constant rumours that his control of the club is becoming precarious.

Inter still have a long way to go in their plans to build a new and modern stadium, and they’ve hit another stumbling block in the form of AC Milan’s apparent insistence on moving away from joint San Siro plans to go it alone.

From President Zhang’s perspective, the Corriere della Sera reports, this is nothing less than an urgent matter to be resolved.

The newspaper reports that the President feels that the longer that the matter drags on, the more that both the long-term financial prospects of the club, and the potential prospects for a sale will be affected.

Accordingly, it has become one of Zhang’s main priorities to finally make real headway on what has become a very complicated project.
