Referee Livio Marinelli has been appointed to be in charge of Inter’s Serie A clash away to Spezia on Friday evening.

This is confirmed by an announcement by the Lega Serie A of the officiating crews for all of the fixtures for this matchday, as reported by FCInterNews.

Marinelli will be assisted in his duties by the likes of Luca Mondin and Pasquale De Meo.

Meanwhile, the role of fourth official will be filled by Niccolo Baroni.

In the VAR booth, Aleandro Di Paolo will oversee the match to ensure that any errors made by the on-pitch officials are corrected.

The role of assistant to Di Paolo as the video assistant will be filled by Rosario Abisso.

Inter will be hoping that the focus stays on the action on the pitch rather than on any officiating controversy.

The Nerazzurri are hoping to keep the momentum going from their win over Lecce at the San Siro last Sunday.
